Booking and contact

Bookings go through the workshop desk, not through this site — these pages are static files and have no booking system behind them.

Booking a machine

Slots are two hours and open a week ahead. Turn up within fifteen minutes or the slot is released to whoever is waiting — there is usually someone waiting. If your print needs eight hours, talk to the desk rather than booking four slots in a row.

Arranging an induction

Watch the recording first, then email with the machine and two or three times that suit you. Inductions run in groups of up to four and take about forty minutes. Coming without having watched the recording means the session takes twice as long, and we will ask you to come back another day.

Reporting a fault

Tell us the machine, what you were doing and what happened, in that order. Photographs help more than descriptions. Do not leave a note on the machine and walk away: notes fall off, and the next person switches it on.

Problems with playback

Include the page address, your browser and what you see: a black frame, a spinner that never finishes, or an error message. That is normally enough to work out the cause.
